Mr. Damien Kuhn

damien-kuhnDamien Kuhn is a water and forest engineer from ENGREF (ParisTech University). He is specialised in environmental economics and is convinced that one of the key to channel international aid to poor country’s human & economic development lies in innovative financial mechanism such as payments for environmental services.

Damien Kuhn has been working as projects coordinator in forests conservation and reforestation projects, mostly in Africa and Latin America. He has been leading the development of a REDD project in South of Senegal. He has also brought expertise to the Malian government for forestry carbon projects development.

Damien Kuhn is an international consultant in Climate Change for UNDP GEF. He has been working for Ecovillages development around the protected areas.

Damien Kuhn have been animating a worldwide movement of forestry community based projects (Forest & Life), which gather projects willing to measure their benefits on quality of life. He is head of international development of this network.
