kaysara-katunKaysara has over 15 years of experience in the private, NGO and academic sectors working in Europe, Asia and Africa. Her current interests are situated in the interdisciplinary areas of climate change, land use policy and natural resource management. It includes adaptation and mitigation reflecting a keen interest in policy formation and implementation in international, national through to community levels, notably in the forestry context. Kaysara received her Ph.D in the Geographical Sciences from Bristol University. Her work links insights from both the social and the natural sciences with a string commitment to empirical research. She has been involved in projects (or in an advisory capacity) with Bristol University, Carbon Trust (UK), CATIE (Costa Rica), MCDI (Tanzania), IISc (India), BC3, ICTA- UAB (Spain), Winrock international (EEUU), IAEN (Ecuador) etc.
